This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the impugned proceedings dated 17.09.2003 issued by the 1st respondent promoting the 3rd respondent as Deputy Registrar, as illegal and arbitrary.

None appeared for the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation during pendency of the writ petition. At this point of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.
