THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.42095 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner states that she made an application, dated 21.08.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') and the Rules framed thereunder for mutation of her name in the revenue records and also paid the requisite fee in accordance with the Rules. Complaining inaction on the part of the Tahsildar, Dahegoan Mandal, Adilabad District, the 1st respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. It is evident that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days. Considering the fact that the statutory application of the petitioner filed under Form VI-A of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder is pending since 21.08.2015, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
