HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 648 of 2018 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 156 of 2017 of Sangam Police Station, Warangal, registered for the offences under Section 324 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 23.01.2018 of Head Constable, Sangam Police Station, Warangal District and submitted that investigation is completed and charge sheet was filed on 18.12.2017 before III Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal and CC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 156 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
