This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C') is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.7910 of 2019 on the file of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354-D, 506 and 509 I.P.C and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. 2.

Respondent No.2-de facto complainant filed I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2020 along with Joint Memo, duly signed by both parties, seeking to permit her to compound the case with the petitioner/accused and to record compromise and to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in the subject Calendar Case. 3.

Today, when the matter is called, both the parties are present in person before this Court and they are identified by their respective counsel. They also filed photocopies of Aadhar cards and photographs in proof of their identity. This Court, when examined, both the parties have stated that at the instance of elders and well-wishers, they have settled the matter out of the Court and the de facto complainant has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in the subject Calendar Case by recording the compromise.

In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the Joint Memo filed by the both parties is taken on record and I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2020 are ordered.

Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in C.C.No.7910 of 2019 on the file of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, are hereby quashed against the petitioner/accused.
