This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner - accused to quash the proceedings against him in Spl.S.C.No.8 of 2017 pending on the file of learned Special Judge for Trial of Offences under SC/ST (pOA) Act - cum - VI Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Secunderabad, filed for the offences punishable under Sections 3(1)(V) & (IX) of SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the subject Calendar Case was ended in acquittal. Hence, the prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous. 3.
