THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.666 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner-A2 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.5 of 2018 on the file of the Station House Officer, Pitchattur Police Station, Chittoor District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468 and 471 r/w 34 IPC. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the criminal petition. As per the F.I.R. lodged with the police, there are specific allegations against the petitioner constituting the offences referred supra. The matter requires investigation. 4.

However, since the learned counsel for the petitioner intends to withdraw the Criminal petition, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
