HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 19923 of 2012 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the first respondent in not disposing of the revision filed by the petitioner on 20.08.2011 for grant of D-Form Patta in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.9.54 cents situated in Sy.No.108-1 of Nadimpalli Village, Somandepalli Mandal, Ananthapur District, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice; and consequently direct the respondents to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioners. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision pending before him at the earliest. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances stated above, the first respondent is advised to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioners on 20.08.2011, if the same is still pending, in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
