THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.2310 of 2019 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, is not acting upon the application made by him for issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds in relation to his land admeasuring Acs.2.14 guntas in Survey No.350 AA; Ac.0.30 guntas in Survey No.354A; Ac.1.04 guntas in Survey No.350 AA; and Ac.1.08 guntas in Survey No.352A of Yedulapuram Village, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, in all Acs.5.16 guntas.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an application in Form VI(A) as per the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. It is not open to the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, to sleep over such an application after receiving it.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application dated 17.11.2018 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this application.
