This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.123 of 2012 of Women Police Station, Begumpet pending on the file of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.

The petitioners are A.3 to A.6 in the said crime. The private complaint under Section 200 Cr.P.C. lodged by the 2nd respondent has been referred to the police station for investigation. Accordingly, on 11.09.2012, the police registered a case in Crime No.123 of 2012 against A.1 to A.6, out of which A.3 to A.6 have filed the present petition. Learned counsel for the petitioners and 1st respondent are not present.

Heard learned Public Prosecutor for the State. Learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter dated 29.01.2018 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad City, stating that investigation has been completed in this case, charge sheet has been filed before the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally and the case has been numbered as C.C.No.101 of 2013.

Since the charge sheet has been filed in this case, quashing of proceedings in Crime No.123 of 2012 has become infructuous. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
