SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.640 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of bail to the petitioner, who is accused No.1, in Crime No.79 of 2011 on the file of the Station House Officer, Guntakal I Town Police Station, Anantapur District. 2.

The offences alleged are under Sections 454 and 380 of I.P.C. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is languishing in jail since 24.11.2017 and that the investigation is almost completed. But the learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application on the ground that the petitioner is involved in several crimes and that earlier, when he was granted bail and was directed to furnish sureties, he produced fake sureties.

Hence, considering the above, this Court opines that this is not a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand dismissed.
