THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.7903 OF 2013

O R D E R

Challenge in this writ petition was to the notice dated 02.01.2013 issued by the Municipal Council, Tandur, Ranga Reddy District, relating to removal of an advertisement hoarding on the ground that prior approval was not obtained and the requisite advertisement tax was not paid.

Though the writ petition was admitted as long back as on 18.03.2013, no interim orders were granted. Further, the respondent Municipality did not choose to file a counter-affidavit. As the issue relates to a notice dating back to the year 2013, this Court is of the opinion that the same does not survive for consideration on merits.

The writ petition is accordingly closed leaving it open to the respondent Municipality to take action, if warranted, in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
