THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C.BHANU AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI APPEAL SUIT No.2049 OF 2003 JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice K.C.Bhanu) This appeal, under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short, 'the Act'), is filed aggrieved by the order and decree, dated 16.09.1999, in Original Petition No.90 of 1988 passed by the Additional Senior Civil Judge, Eluru.
2. Heard the Learned Government Pleader for Appeals appearing for the appellant and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that not satisfied with enhancement made by the reference Court, the respondents/claimants filed an appeal before this Court vide Appeal Suit No.2017 of 2000, whereby this Court enhanced the compensation from Rs.15,000/-per acre to Rs.22,000/- per acre. Therefore, in view of said enhancement, no further orders are required to be passed in this appeal.
4. Accordingly, the Appeal Suit is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this appeal shall stand closed.
