HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 25354 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in not considering and adjudicating the grievance raised by the petitioner with regard to parity of promotion as Assistant Mechanical Foreman, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. At this point of time, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.
