THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.26795 of 2006 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in paying HRA @ 15% to the petitioner instead of 17.5% as was paid to the similarly situated officers during the period worked at Mumbai Asset and Rajahmundry Asset of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently to declare that petitioner is entitled for payment of difference of HRA (2.5%) for the period worked at Mumbai Asset and Rajahmundry Asset of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited on par with similarly situated officers. 2.

When the matter is taken up, Sri R.N. Hemanand, representing learned counsel for the petitioner on record represented that in view of the subsequent events, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
