HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.15775 of 2014 ORDER:
In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks to quash the FIR in Crime No.247 of 2014 of Adilabad I Town PS, Adilabad District, which was registered against him for the offence under Section 420 IPC and Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. 2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 14.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Adilabad I Town PS, Adilabad District and submitted that the case was referred as civil in nature on 31.12.2014 and final report was filed before Judicial First Class Magistrate, Adilabad and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR/Crime No.247 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.
3) There is no representation for petitioner.
4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
