O R D E R:- The assertion of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner and possessor of a total extent of Ac.4.27 cents of land in various survey numbers situated at Dabilpur, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. While so, it is stated that on 21.10.2014, during the course of his journey from Dabilpur to Medchal, he lost originals of his pattadar passbooks and title deeds. Subsequently, on the advise of the 2nd respondent - Tahsildar, the petitioner lodged a police complaint and also got issued a notice by way of paper publication in Talangana Daily about the loss of his documents and also made a representation dated 05.12.2014 to the 2nd respondent requesting him to issue duplicate set of pattadar passbooks and title deeds. Now, the petitioner's grievance is that the 2nd respondent has neither considered his representation nor passed any orders thereon so far. Hence, the present writ petition is filed seeking appropriate directions. Heard the learned counsel for both the parties and perused the material placed on record.
Inasmuch as the issue involved in this writ petition is only with regard to issuance of duplicate set of pattadar passbooks and titled deeds in favour of the petitioner relating to an extent of Ac.4.27 cents of land on the ground that his original documents were lost, this Court is of the opinion that interest of justice would be met if the writ petition is disposed of with the
following direction:
"The 2nd respondent-Tahsildar is directed to consider the representation dated 05.12.2014 said to have been made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from today." With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
