This Criminal Petition is liled seeking quashment of proceedings in S.C. No.2 of 2017 dated 07.O7.2077 on the file of learned I Additionai District Sessions Judge, Adilabad registered against the petitioners/ accused Nos. 1 to 4 for the offences under Sections 366-A., 376 read with Section 109 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual offences Act 2Ol2 and Section 9 of Child Marriage Act, 2006.
02. No representation on behalf of the petitioners as well as respondent No.2.
03. Sri T.V.Ramana Rao, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/St-ate has submitted that after full fledge trial, the case before the trial Court was ended in acquittal on 28.03.2022 and to that extent copy of the proceedings sheet downloaded from e-Courts is filed. I I

05. Considering the facts and circumstances discussed above, this Court is of the opinion that since no cause of action survives to prosecute the case and thereby this Criminal Petition has become infructuous and is liable to be dismissed.
06. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
