HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 25508 of 2017 Order:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in acquiring the lands of the petitioner for Polavaram Irrigation Project pursuant to the notification published on 25.06.2016. The petitioner states that she has submitted her objections to the said proposed acquisition on 16.01.2017 and she is apprehending that the lands would be acquired without considering her objections. Since no declaration is published in the newspapers or in the Gazette, this Court cannot examine the apprehension of the petitioner. It is needless to observe that the competent authority shall consider the objections filed by the petitioner before taking a decision with regard to acquisition of the lands of the petitioner for the aforesaid purpose pursuant to the notification dated 25.06.2017. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
