HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRL.M.P.NO.5911 OF 2015 AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.5974 OF 2015 COMMON ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.210 of 2013 of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for respondents.

A joint memo in Crl.M.P(S.R.).No.19092 of 2015 is filed by the de facto complainant as well as A1 to A5 stating that through intervention of elders the matter is settled amicably by arriving a settlement to take divorce in O.P.No.589 of 2015, which is posted for orders to today and seeks permission of the Court to compound the offence in the above said crime.

T h e de facto complainant and the accused are present before the Court and they identified by their respective counsel.

Though the offence under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act otherwise not compoundable by invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C. permission is accorded to compound the same.

Accordingly, Crl.M.P(S.R.).No.19092 of 2015 is ordered and the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing the proceedings in Crime No.210 of 2013 of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad.

Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
