HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.2421 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not considering the application dated 18.12.2018 made by him for permission to construct a boundary wall around his land admeasuring Ac.5-08 guntas in Sy.No.442 of Dharur Village, Dharur Mandal, Vikarabad District.

Sri G. Narender Reddy, learned counsel for Dharur Gram Panchayat, Dharur Village, would inform this Court that the petitioner failed to furnish certain relevant information as required by law.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2018 was received by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat on the very same day. Having received such an application, it is not open to the authorities to remain wholly inactive upon the same. In the event any further information is required from the applicant, it is for the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat to call upon him to furnish the said information. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of permitting the Secretary, Dharur Gram Panchayat, Dharur Mandal, Vikarabad District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application dated 18.12.2018. In the event any further information is required, the Secretary shall call upon the petitioner to make good the same and thereafter pass appropriate orders on the application as per law. The said exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
