HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.2406 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner firm is that the Regional Deputy Director, Survey and Land Records, Hyderabad, is not taking action to conduct a survey and demarcate the land in Sy.No.223 of Mancherial Village, Gandipet Mandal (earlier Rajendar Nagar Mandal), Ranga Reddy District.

Perusal of the record reflects that the Regional Deputy Director, Survey and Land Records, Hyderabad, issued Notice on 22.01.2019 informing all the parties concerned that a spot inspection of Sy.No.223 of Mancherial Village, Gandipet Mandal, would be taken up on 30.01.2019. Sri Peri Prabhakar, learned counsel for the petitioner firm, would inform this Court that despite the same, the survey was not undertaken. It is not open to the survey authorities to issue a notice of the survey proposed on a particular date and fail to follow through. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Regional Deputy Director, Survey and Land Records, Hyderabad, to complete the survey of Sy.No.

223, Mancherial Village, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The survey authorities shall duly take into account the work memos submitted by the petitioner firm and any other party participating in the survey operations. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
