HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 25102 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records relating to the Office Order of the 1st respondent dated 09.11.2002, whereby the petitioner was reverted to the post of Mining Sirdar Grade-C, and quash the same holding it as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of the Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had retired from service during pendency of the writ petition. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and, accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
