HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 19090 of 2017 Order:

The inaction of respondent No.2, in regularizing the petitioner's plot No.94 in Survey No.66/2, Rayadurg Navkhalsa Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, under layout Regulations Scheme, is questioned in this Writ Petition as being illegal and arbitrary. Learned counsel, appearing on either side, would agree that the subject matter of this writ petition is covered by an order of this Court in W.P.No.32516 of 2016 dated 29.09.2016 wherein this Court directed the respondent - GHMC to consider the petitioner's application for regularization of plots, under the Layout Regularisation Scheme, within a period of eight weeks.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing respondent No.2 (Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) to consider the petitioner's application dated 29.02.2016 for regularization of his plot, under the Layout Regularisation Scheme, within a period of eight weeks, and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
