Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned standing counsel for the first respondent Authority and the second respondent Corporation.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of 1st respondent in responding to letter No.1/C21/06459/2019/606, dated 17.07.2019 of 2nd respondent is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to grant building permission pursuant to the building application submitted by the petitioner company in file No.1/C21/06459/2019, dated 02.04.2019 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent is not acting upon the letter dated 17.07.2019 issued by the second respondent Corporation and taking appropriate action. In that context, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 17.01.2020 to the second respondent Corporation.

Since the Corporation have already issued letter No.1/C21/06459/2019/606 dated 17.07.2019, the first respondent Authority is directed to look into the matter and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
