Sk.Fathima Beebi And 13 Others v. The Managing Director And 5 Others
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 10905 of 2004 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services of the petitioners from the date of their initial appointment, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners in pursuance of circular dated 24.04.1997 issued by the respondents. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned standing counsel for the respondents submits that the case of the petitioners will be considered for regularization as and when their turn comes up for regularization.
Having considered the said submission, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondents seeking regularization of their services. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondents seeking regularization of their services, if not already regularized, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and upon receiving such representation, the respondents shall consider the same
and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with the rules, within four weeks thereafter.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _____________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 29th November, 2018 cbs
