THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 21878 of 2016 ORDER:
The petitioner was appointed as Anganwadi Worker on 20.09.2012 in Anganwadi Centre, Lingaraopalem Village, Yedlapadu Mandal, Guntur District. While so, some of the villagers of B.C. Colony, Lingaraopalem Village gave a complaint to respondent No.4-Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project, Nadendla Mandalam against her. Based on the said complaint, respondent No.3-Project Director, ICDS visited the Anganwadi Centre along with other officials and issued a memo to the petitioner, for which, she submitted a detailed explanation. Thereafter, a show cause notice, dated 13.10.2014, was issued. However, without considering the said explanation, respondent No.3 issued proceedings, dated 28.11.2014, placing the petitioner under suspension based on the directions issued by respondent No.2-Chairman/District Collector.
Since no final orders are passed for the last two years, the present writ petition is filed. This writ petition came up for consideration on 05.07.2016 and at the request of learned Government Pleader, it was adjourned thrice. Even today also, no written instructions are placed by the learned Government Pleader.
In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to complete the enquiry initiated against the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt
of a copy of this order and pass final orders in accordance with law.
