HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.2405 OF 2019 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Tandur Mandal, Mancherial District, is not taking action upon his application filed in prescribed format for issuance of pattedar passbooks and title deeds in relation to his land admeasuring Ac.5-00 guntas in Sy.No.26/2 of Kothapalli Village, Tandur Mandal, Mancherial District. Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner made an application in Form VI-A as required under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for brevity 'the Act of 1971'). Having received the same, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Tandur Mandal, Mancherial District to keep the same pending indefinitely. In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Tandur Mandal, Mancherial District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application submitted in Form VI-A on 10.11.2018 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
