THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21242 OF 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in seizing the vehicles belonging to the petitioners herein, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the seized vehicles are now placed before the Forest Beat Officer, the petitioners may be permitted to approach the 5th respondent seeking appropriate relief. In that view of the matter, the petitioners are permitted to approach the 5th respondent with appropriate application seeking appropriate relief, in which event, the 5th respondent shall deal with the same, at the earliest, in accordance with law. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
