Heard Sri M. Chalapathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Sri MSR Chandramurthy, learned special counsel for respondents 2 & 4.
2. The petitioner was appointed as a Village Senior Mate of Srirangarajupuram Gram Panchayat, Kandukuru Mandal of Prakasam District in the year 2008. By order dated 01.07.2015, the 4th respondent kept the petitioner under suspension on certain allegations. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the order of suspension is not based on any specific allegations and therefore, it is liable to be set aside. On the other hand, learned special counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that since the impugned order is passed pending regular disciplinary enquiry, the same does not require any interference.
3. Since the impugned order is passed pending enquiry, I am not inclined to examine the merits of the order. In the circumstances, the Project Director-4th respondent is directed to complete the enquiry against the petitioner and pass appropriate final orders in accordance with the Rules, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the order of suspension shall stand revoked.
4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
