This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue order or orders, direction or directions, writ or writs, particularly one in the nature of "WRIT OF MANDAMUS" declare the in action of the respondents is not issuing D Form Pattas in favour of the Petitioners for the lands in their occupation for more than years situated in Sy.Nos.350,351 & of Vengamambapuram Village, Varikuntapadu Mandal, Nellore Dist, in spite of several applications and directions by the several authorities

as illegal, arbitrary and against Sub Plan for Schedule Cast and Violation of Article 14 & 21 of the Constitution of India consequently direct the respondents to issue pattas in favour of petitioners for the lands in their possession situated in Sy. Nos.350, 351 & 352 of Vengamambapuram Village, Varikuntapadu Mandal, Nellore Dist, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case...." The case of the petitioners is that they are in possession and enjoyment of the land in an extent of Ac.5.00 each in Sy.Nos.350, 352 & 351 of Vengamambapuram, Varikuntapadu Mandal, Nellore District over a long period.

The petitioners complain that though they have made applications long ago to consider their cases for grant of pattas in their favour, the respondents have not taken any action so far. Hence, they filed the present writ petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (A.P.) for respondents. Considering the short relief sought for in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage directing respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioners and take necessary steps to grant pattas in their favour subject to their eligibility, in accordance with the schemes existing as on today. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J.
