Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for respondents 1 to 4. 2.
The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 in initiating/undertake appropriate proceedings against the Respondent Nos.5 to 13 as per the Telangana Municipalities and Municipal Corporations (Conduct of Election of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Municipal Council and Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation) Rules, 2020 in furtherance of the complaint filed by the Petitioner before the Respondent No.2 and 3 Authorities with regard to disobedience of the WHIP by Respondent Nos.
5 to 13 and cessation of their membership as per Rule 8(4) of the Rules, 2020 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of provisions of the Rules, 2020 and consequently direct the Respondent No.3 to forthwith initiate appropriate proceedings/undertake the process including causing show cause notice under Rule 8(5) of the Rules, 2020 against the Respondent No.5 to 13 and pass such further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

Learned Additional Advocate General, on instructions, informs the Court that on the complaints/objections filed by the petitioner, a show cause notice has already been issued to the unofficial respondents 5 to 13 and appropriate action is being taken as per the procedure.

In the light of the said specific submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition.
