THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.16669 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the inaction of the respondents in taking action pursuant to the report lodged on 03.04.2017 against the 5th respondent and his associates, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself. Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, there is no necessity to issue notice to respondent No.5. Learned AGP on instructions would submit that since the petitioner is not co-operating with respondents-Police, they are unable to proceed further on his report.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will furnish all the documents and co-operate with Police by furnishing necessary documents.

Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-Police to co-operate with the Police by furnishing necessary documents, in which event, the respondentsPolice shall proceed further in accordance with law.
