HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3585 of 2019 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioners in this case reads as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not taking action on the representations dated 17.01.2019, 09.05.2018 and 16 102017 as arbitrary illegal and discriminatory and to pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." Perusal of the petitioners' representations reflects that they were made to the Tahsildar, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, and the Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District. However, it is evident that they were not filed in the form of an Appeal or a Revision.

The prayer of the petitioners by way of the said representations was to remove the names already entered in the revenue records and to incorporate their names therein. Such a relief could not have been sought by way of bald representations. As the representations themselves were misconceived and did not warrant any action by the revenue authorities, even if received, it is not open to the petitioners to complain of inaction on the part of the revenue authorities thereon.

The Writ Petition is therefore devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. This order however shall not preclude the petitioners from taking recourse to statutory remedies available to them before the competent forum in accordance with the due procedure.

SK, J WP.No.3585 of 2019 Dt:21.02.2019 Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
