HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 30245 of 2011 ORDER:

With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Revenue.

The present writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not mutating the names of the petitioners in the revenue records as per the registered document No.2030/2011, dated 11.08.2011, No.2031/2011 dated 11.08.2011 and No.2176/2011, dated 25.08.2011, as illegal and arbitrary; and consequently direct the respondents to mutate the names of the petitioners in the revenue records and to issue title deeds and pattadar pass books.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that though they gave a representation dated 20.10.2011 to the third respondent but the same is not considered till date and hence seeks a direction. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances stated above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 20.10.2011, if any made by the petitioners for mutation of their names in the revenue records, if they are entitled to and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
