ORDER:
The petitioner challenges the order, dated 24.12.2014, suspending the petitioner as Sarpanch in exercise of power under Section 249(6) of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (for short, 'the Act'). This Court, by order, dated 04.02.2015, having regard to the provision contained in Section 249(6) of the Act, directed to treat the period of suspension as valid for a period of three (3) months only and to restore the petitioner as Sarpanch after the completion of the period of three (3) months.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is reinstated and is now functioning as Sarpanch to the Nidumukkala Gram Panchayat, Tadikonda Mandal, Guntur District, and the petitioner is not intending to prosecute the writ petition further.
3. Having regard to the provision contained in Section 249(6) of the Act as already considered by this Court and since the petitioner is already re-instated, no further orders are necessary.
4. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
