Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Commercial Taxes for the respondents. 2.

This writ petition is filed by the wife of former employee, by name, M. Narsing Rao to declare the action of the respondents in not providing suitable job under compassionate grounds on the ground that her husband was missing.

The material on record would disclose that on the allegation of long unauthorized absence, by proceedings dated 21.05.2010, punishment of removal from service was imposed on the husband of the petitioner, M. Narsing Rao, who was working as Office Subordinate in the office of the Deputy Commissioner (CT), Hyderabad (Rural) Division. The appeal preferred by the employee was rejected by the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes vide his order dated 11.07.2016. Alleging that M. Naresh, brother of M. Narsing Rao, lodged a complaint with the Chilkalguda Police Station on 04.08.2014, Crime No.464 of 2014 was registered in respect of missing of M. Narsinga Rao from 27.07.2014. 4.

Since the employee was removed from service on 21.05.2010, much prior to the alleged missing of M. Narsing Rao, the question of granting any benefit from the employer does not arise. Therefore, there is no merit in the writ petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. However, it is always open to the petitioner to work out her remedies as available in law on any other issue. There shall be no order as to costs.
