THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.8188 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging action of respondent in transferring petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice.

2. No representation for petitioner. I have perused the material papers.

3. Petitioner was working as Senior Assistant in Sri Kunduru Venkataratnam Choultry, Guntur. According to petitioner, respondent transferred him to present post from Thumuluru as per proceedings dated 31.08.2001. According to petitioner, within 11⁄2 year of the said transfer, he was again transferred to Annadhana Samajam, Guntur, by impugned proceedings dated 08.04.2003. According to petitioner, he was left with only 14 months of service, therefore, transfer through impugned proceedings dated 08.04.2003 is illegal, arbitrary and violates principles of natural justice.

4. Even according to petitioner, he got only 14 months of service as on date of filing of writ petition. This writ is filed in 2003. Therefore, by this time, he must have retired on attaining superannuation and, as such no cause survives and Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
