The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Collector, Ranga Reddy District, upon her representation dated 19.12.2018. She seeks a further direction to the revenue authorities to restore possession of the plot allotted to her in Sy.No.71 of Badangpet Village, Balapur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

Perusal of the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2018 reflects that various allegations were made by her therein. Significantly, allegations were also made by her against one Sri Ram Prasad, Thasildar of Saroornagar Mandal. The person who is said to be in possession of the petitioner's allotted plot is impleaded as respondent No.5 in this Writ Petition. However, in the light of the order proposed to be passed by this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, it would not be necessary to put him on notice or afford him an opportunity of hearing.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, does not deny receipt of the petitioner's representation by the Collector, Ranga Reddy District. If that is so, it is for the Collector, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action, as warranted, upon the said representation after hearing all the parties concerned. The Collector cannot remain somnolent upon a complaint made against his subordinate officials. It would be necessary for the Collector, being the administrative head of the District, to take corrective steps in the event any action on the part of his subordinates warrants the same. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Collector, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2018 after giving an opportunity of hearing to all parties concerned. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
