THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8834 of 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of the 2nd respondent, dated 31.01.2013, passed in appeal preferred by the petitioners against rejection of mutation of their names in respect of land in Survey Nos.134/16 in an extent of Ac.0.72 cents and 149/16 in an extent of Ac.0.27 cents by the Tahsildar, Tirupati Urban, in proceedings, dated 26.03.2012. It is recorded in the said order that both the appellant and the respondent have not attended for enquiry and the Revenue Divisional Officer has no jurisdiction to entertain such an appeal and the Joint Collector alone is competent to enquire into the grievance of the petitioners. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to approach the Joint Collector, Chittoor, for filing appropriate proceedings against the order, dated 26.03.

2012 of the third respondent, within a period of thirty (30) days. In view of liberty given to the petitioners to file appropriate proceedings before the Joint Collector, the Joint Collector shall entertain the appeal/revision filed by the petitioners and decide the same after issuing notice to the 4th respondent herein, in accordance with law.
