HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Criminal Petition No.1346 of 2018 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.2 seeks to quash the proceedings in FIR No.16 of 2017 of WPS Sangareddy PS, which was registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 494 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of D.P. Act.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 16.03.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, W.P.S. Sangareddy, Cyberabad Commissionerate and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed on 14.02.2018 before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Sangareddy and C.C No. is awaited and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No.16 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
