This petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Sections 437 & 439 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant bail in Crime No.63 of 2016 on the file of Nidadavolu Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c ) r/w 20(b)(ii)(c ) of the NDPS Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner was found transporting 64 kgs of ganja.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed this petition. Since the quantity of ganja seized from the possession of the petitioner is commercial, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
