ORDER
This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/A1 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.290 of 2013 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC and under Sections 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, against him.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/A1 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence and is innocent and therefore, prayed the Court to quash the proceedings against him.

A perusal of the charge sheet would disclose that the petitioner/A1, at the instigation of other accused, used to harass the second respondent mentally and physically by demanding additional dowry and also beat her severely on 13.06.2011. In view of the serious allegations against the petitioner, this Court cannot interfere with the proceedings. However, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed the Court that a direction may be given to the Court below for early disposal of the case.
5. Considering the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Court below is directed to dispose of C.C.No.290 of
ANIS,J Crl.P.14064 of 2016 2013 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
