Heard Smt Y.Anupama Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri K.Ramakanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

In the present writ petition, the non-disposal of the appeals vide APPL 11889/2017 [D.El.Ed] and APPL 11890/2017 [B.Ed], dated 21.07.2017, filed by the petitioner before respondent No.2, The National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, is under challenge.

By way of orders issued vide proceedings in F.No.SRO/NCTE/SRCAPP14120/B.Ed/AP/2017-18/93279, dated 16.05.2017, and F.No.SRO/NCTE/SRCAPP14121/D.El.Ed/AP/ 2017-18/93293, dated 17.05.2017, respondent No.1 herein refused to grant recognition for B.Ed., and D.El.Ed courses in favour of the petitioner herein. Aggrieved by the said orders of rejection, the petitioner herein filed appeals before respondent No.2/appellate authority on 21.07.2017. In the above background, the complaint of the petitioner in the present writ petition is inaction on the part of respondent No.2 in passing orders on the said appeals preferred by the petitioner herein. 4.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel, and taking into consideration the nature of controversy, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.2/appellate authority
to pass appropriate orders on the appeals, dated 21.07.2017, filed by the petitioner herein against the orders of respondent No.1, dated 16.05.2017 and 17.05.2017, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
