THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE P.MADHAVI DEVI WRIT PETITION No.2584 of 2023 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not processing the individual application for release of individual electricity connections to property bearing Plot No.231 at Gokul Plots, Venkatramana Colony, Haleezpet Hyderabad now Medchal-Malkajgiri District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to process application for providing electricity connection and to release service connection q,ith meters to petitioner's property without any further delay and to pass such other order or orders.

Heard Mr.Sathvik Makunur, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for ttle respondents, and the Writ Petition is disposed of at admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has entered into the Development Agreement cum-General Power of ,I Attorney with the owners Mr.C.Yogesh, S/o. C.Lingesh and Mr.C.Ganesh, S/o. C.Lingesh witJ. respect to Plot No.231 at Gokul Plots, Venkatramana Colony, Hafeezpet Hyderabad now MedchalMalkajgiri District vide Development Agreement cum GPA dated LO.O5.2O2O and the petitioner had applied for domestic electricity
PMD.J w.P.No.25a4 of 2023 - connection to the said house vide acknowledgment dated 06.01.2023 to the respondents. But as on this date, the respondents have not considered and given any estimation for the purpose of sanctioning service connection to the said house, which is contrary to the Section 43 of Electricity Act, 2003 and requested to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application and pass appropriate orders. 4.
In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 06.01.2023 as per law, and provide power supply or pass appropriate orders on the application filed by the petitioner, within four (4) weeks from the date receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
