The petitioner seeks change of land use from 'agricultural' to 'nonagricultural' in respect of the land in Sy.No.281/7, admeasuring Ac.0.17 guntas, situated at Gummuduru Village, Mahabubabad Mandal, Warangal District. The petitioner made an application for the aforesaid purpose on 04.04.2015, on which it appears that a report was called for as per the guidelines in G.O.Ms.No.1537, Revenue (Land Revenue) Department, dated 19.10.2006. The petitioner has also paid the requisite fee online. Alleging that no further action is being taken on the said application, the present writ petition is filed. It is evident from the petitioner's averments that an appropriate report in terms of the guidelines has already been called for and it is now for the competent authority, ie.

, the Revenue Divisional Officer, to consider the petitioner's request in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders. Since the petitioner's application is pending for more than three months, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mahabubabad, Warangal, to consider the petitioner's application on merits and pass appropriate orders thereon, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
