Learned Government Pleader for the respondents, at the outset, invites our attention to Section 12 of the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963 and submits that the impugned demand is appealable under this provision.

Having confronted with this, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal along with an application for interim relief, with direction to the appellate authority to dispose of the application for interim relief within timeframe.

Writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed. If the petitioner files appeal and application for interim relief, the concerned authority shall deal with the same, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from today. It is needless to mention that the appellate authority shall pass appropriate orders on the application for interim relief within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of the application.
