Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Women and Child Welfare for respondents. The case of the petitioner is that pursuant to the notification issued by the 1st respondent for appointment of Anganwadi worker at Pathepuram Village, the petitioner applied for the same, and ultimately, she was appointed as Anganwadi worker to work at Pathempuram Village vide proceedings dated 24.11.2008. The said proceedings were communicated to the petitioner on 28.11.2008 and she submitted her joining report to the 3rd respondent on 06.12.2008. But the 3rd respondent asked the petitioner to wait for few days for sending her for training in the month of February, whereas the other Anganwadi workers, who were appointed by the 3rd respondent, were sent for training at Chirala.

The grievance of the petitioner is that she has submitted representation dated 09.02.2009 to the respondents to send her for training and to permit her to work as Anganwadi worker, but no action has been taken by the respondents so far. Challenging the inaction on the part of the respondents the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

This Court while ordering Rule Nisi on 24.02.2009 granted interim direction to the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioner to join as Anganwadi Worker at the centre at Pathepuram village. Though several years have been elapsed no counter affidavit is filed by the respondents denying the allegations of the petitioner. To day when the case was called, both the learned counsel submits that pursuant to the interim orders of this Court, the petitioner was admitted into service and she is continuing as Anganwadi worker.

In that view of the matter, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition as the relief sought by the petitioner stood redressed. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
