THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI WRI T PETI TI ON No.24236 of 2016 ORDER: (per SK,J) This writ petition was filed by the unsuccessful applicant in O.A.No.2302 of 2016 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad.

By way of the said O.A., the petitioner sought disposal of his representation dated 25.11.2015, whereby he sought fixation of his seniority in the cadres of Chainman, Junior Assistant/Typist, Senior Assistant and Deputy Tahsildar. He also sought consequential promotion. By order dated 22.06.2016, the Tribunal dismissed the O.A. By order dated 12.08.2016 passed in W.P.M.P.No.29871 of 2016 filed in this writ petition, this Court directed the authorities to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.11.2016 and 05.02.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon.

It is now stated that pursuant to the aforestated interim order, the District Collector, Adilabad, considered the petitioner's representations and passed order dated 24.10.2016 rejecting his request. In the light of the aforestated development, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication on merits as the petitioner necessarily has to seek relief, if he so chooses, in the context of the order dated 24.10.2016 passed by the District Collector, Adilabad. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to seek redressal of his grievance, if any, in relation to the said order, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
