ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant
Government Pleader for Fisheries.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is only with regard to non-consideration of his application dated 22.08.2014 submitted in Form-B for registration of New Fresh Water Aquaculture Farm. The said application is stated to have been made and pending before the third respondent and in terms of G.O.Ms.No.7 dated 16.03.2013, the third respondent has to obtain reports from various authorities and forward the application to the second respondent committee for its consideration in the District Level Committee meeting.
3. Since the application of the petitioner in the proforma is stated to be pending since 22.08.2014, I deem it appropriate to direct the third respondent to obtain necessary reports from the authorities concerned and along with his recommendation, forward the application of the petitioner to the second respondent at the earliest, preferably, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall, thereafter, consider the said application in terms of the aforesaid G.O. and take an appropriate decision in the matter.
The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J March 2, 2015 DSK
