HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 23387 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings dated 19.07.2002 issued by the 2nd respondent insofar as re-categorising the petitioners from Grade-I to Grade-II, as illegal and arbitrary.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court granted status-quo insofar as the petitioners are concerned, vide orders dated 22.11.2002 in WPMP No.29331 of 2002.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the interim orders passed by this Court, the petitioners are being continued as Grade-I employees and hence no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. In view of the said submission, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
